The last two months provided us with the opportunity to understand how you are using your GNARBOX, and importantly, the most pressing ways in which we can improve the product.

That’s what we’re all about – constantly building on the software user experience so that GNARBOX improves with time. Today, we are taking the first step in that journey, and are proud to announce that Release 1.1.0 is live on the app store!

(iOS Only) Users can now export color corrected videos and highlight reels

(Android Only) Improved navigation performance for thumbnail collections with large numbers of files in them

(Android Only) Instantly grab full-resolution frames from your videos with the new Export Frames feature

Copy files off of large hard drives (>128 GB) by designating a GNARBOX directory for read/write access

Users can be certain that all files on the GNARBOX are uncorrupted/usable with the new partial file detection feature for catching incomplete imports

Boost performance of your GNARBOX, especially when it is full, with the new Cache Clearing tool in the settings menu

Increased security of firmware updates to avoid intermittent failures 

Fixed issue that caused the server to crash when it received certain types of copy files requests 

Repaired several transcoder errors that caused Highlight Reel previews to fail on certain videos 

Created a new partial Operating System update that can be used to recover files when the GNARBOX is experiencing issues connecting to the app 

Added thumbnail regeneration capability to address grey thumbnail issue in app 

Improved device support by fixing several issues that were causing apps on various Android devices to crash

Added support for certain portrait JPG's that were appearing improperly in the Preview and Edit screens
