With software release 1.8.0, you'll now be able to set your GNARBOX to reflect your current local time.  This is especially important if you are traveling or live outside the default time zone of Pacific Standard Time.  This also addresses a longstanding bug where files from a single date copy into different folders of different dates.

For a full video tutorial on how to set your time zone, check out our YouTube tutorial here.

  • Connect to your GNARBOX wifi and app as you normally would.
  • Within the GNARBOX app, select Settings in the upper right-hand corner.
  • On the settings page, you'll see an option labeled "Time Zone".

  • Once selected, you'll have the option to select your location by hitting "Change Time Zone".

After choosing your time zone, your GNARBOX will automatically apply that time zone and date to all media based on the day you import it.

As always, we're here to help solve your GNARBOX related issues, so if you're unable to find the answer you're looking for on help.gnarbox.com, feel free to shoot us a message using the chat window found in the bottom right corner of the page!
